Abstract

Al-Qur'an Hadith learning is part of the subjects that are considered very instrumental in giving students an understanding of the implementation and practice of the values contained in the Al-Qur'an Hadith. This study aims to find out the Problems of Learning Al-Qur'an Hadith in Class IV Students at Madrasah Ibtidaiah Al-Fatah Abepantai Jayapura. This study uses the grand theory of Tabularasa, Abraham Maslow and Max Weber. The research was conducted from April 13 to June 13, 2023. The research design was qualitative using a case study method with a psychological and pedagogical approach. The population of this study was the head of the Madrasah, teachers of the Qur'an Hadith, homeroom teacher for class IV and students of class IV at Madrasah Ibtidaiah Al-Fatah Abepantai Jayapura. The research sample is 10 respondents. The results of this study form the problems of learning Al-Qur'an Hadith in Class IV students at Madrasah Ibtidaiah Al-Fatah Abepantai Jayapura consisting of educators who do not understand lesson plans, no additional TPA activities, heterogeneous backgrounds of students and the methods used are less innovative , learning activities using only the lecture method, facilities and infrastructure are not sufficient and learning evaluation in Al-Quran Hadith subjects is carried out by asking questions during lessons and written exams which are carried out in the middle and at the end of the semester where KKM achievements are conveyed through report cards to parents. The efforts of the madrasa head are to provide directions to educators, meet the needs of facilities and infrastructure either directly or indirectly, continue to be involved from making lesson plans to supervising student learning activities, and continue to monitor the capabilities of educators and provide encouragement to educators in Al -Qur'an Hadith so as to provide safe and comfortable teaching for students.
