Abstract
The main problem in this study is the teacher's strategy to instill religious moderation values in class 4C students at SDIT Qurrata A'yun Abepura through BPI (Islamic Private Development). From the subject matter, three sub-problems or research questions were raised, namely (1) What form is the implementation of the BPI program in SDIT Qurrata A'yun IVC class; (2) What are the various teacher strategies for instilling the value of religious moderation through BPI in SDIT Qurrota A'yun IVC class; (3) What is the value of religious moderation instilled in students in SDIT Qurrata A'yun IVC class through the BPI. This type of research is classified as qualitative with the approach used is pedagogic. The data sources for this research are school principals, class 4C homeroom teachers, and class 4C students. Furthermore, the data research methods used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data processing and data analysis techniques go through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, in testing the validity of the data using four stages, namely trust (credibility), dependability (dependability), and certainty (confermability). The results of the study show that: (1) Implementation of the Islamic Private Development (BPI) at SDIT Qurrata A'yun takes three forms, namely (a) Coaching. Coaching is a program from SDIT Qurrata A'yun which functions to achieve JSIT's distinctive SKL with a review/mentoring approach. (b) Mabit (the night of building faith and piety). Mabit is a routine agenda programmed by SIT Qurrata A'yun which aims to stay in touch and deepen BPI material. (c) Study before breaking the fast. The study before breaking the fast is an additional agenda for class 4C which is carried out to deepen BPI material and strengthen family relationships in the class 4C community. (2) The teacher's strategy used to instill religious moderation values at SDIT Qurrata A'yun uses mentoring, exemplary, and habituation. (3) The variety of religious moderation values instilled in class 4C students at SDIT Qurrata A'yun include the middle (tawa>sut}), uprightness (i’tida>l), tolerance (tasāmuh}), deliberation (syu>ra), reform (is}la>h}), pioneering (qudwah), citizenship/love for the motherland (muwathanah), anti-violence (a>‘unf) and culturally friendly i‘tiba>ru al-‘urf).
